Grinds register
If you feel you need help with some aspects of your course, you may want to consider getting grinds. During these private tutorials, you and your tutor can focus on particular issues that you are having difficulty with in a private, supportive environment.
Before taking grinds in any subject, you should talk to your lecturers or course director about your concerns. They are already familiar with the course materials and may offer you additional support.
On the Students' Union website, you can find a list of postgraduates or staff offering grinds to students. The Students' Union does not regulate or check any tutor's qualifications, credentials or prices. For your own benefit, you should always agree a fee with a tutor before the grind takes place and meet your tutor in a public place.
