About the NUI Galway President's Award for Students
We are delighted to invite you to participate with the President's Award for Students, a unique celebration at NUI Galway, as we are national leaders in student and community engagement. Apply for the award in recognition of your extra-curricular activities. We are very keen at NUI Galway to celebrate all the voluntary work students contribute and the learning that emanates from that experience. Further information available on the ALIVE website.
Celebration Ceremony
You are most welcome to attend the ceremony, a positive day for the campus to acknowledge the yearlong commitment of students, staff, and community partners to civic engagement.
Open Call to Apply
Students may apply online at www.yourspace.nuigalway.ie with your student ID and student password throughout the year - logging your hours of activities and your reflections. Applications are made online by the annual March deadline and are awarded in April at a special ceremony. Diploma Supplement
Upon graduation students of NUI Galway become alumni and are issued the Diploma Supplement, which represents a record of both academic and non-academic achievements. Successful applicants to the President's Award for Students will have their award noted on their official Diploma Supplement in Section 6 - Additional information.
