Going forward please use the new version of this form. We will not be able to accept older versions of this form.

This form should only be completed, if you submitted a contract to HR TSS and you are required to submit timesheets for part-time Teaching/Tutorials/Lab Demonstrations or Academic Related Duties including Foreign Language Assistants.

For essay corrections (pay code 127) which do not contribute to the examination marks: these are essays which are a means of providing feedback to students. They come under the hourly paid teaching staff heading rather than the Exam correction heading.

If you are a registered student in Ireland you must submit a GTA contract request in order to paid for exam corrections. Please contact hrta@universityofgalway.ie if you have any queries on this process.

This form is specifically intended for marking essays that contribute to the overall examination result. It should not be used for essay corrections that do not impact the examination marks. Please reserve the use of this form exclusively for marking essays that carry examination weights.

This form must be completed for the following type of work:

Marking of Scripts / Correction of Orals, Practicals, Essays / Postgrad Dissertation / Minor Thesis / Major Thesis Corrections

To ensure compliance with employment regulations, it is crucial that the hourly rate paid to employees such as student ambassadors is not below the minimum wage. 

This form is specifically for:
1. Student Ambassador Hourly Paid Work (i.e., open days, orientation) 

Student ambassadors play a key role in promoting the University of Galway and all it has to offer. Attract new students by providing them with the best university experience. Through their personal journey and experiences.

2. Non-Academic Hourly Paid Work subject to written approval by HR (Attach approval and Justification for this payment)
3. Clinical Research Facility Healthy Volunteers (Bone Marrow Donations)
4. Acting Patients for Practical Medical Exams
Please note that this timesheet should not be used for any other engagement.
