Studying abroad in academic year 2024/25
Semester 2 outgoings - study abroad preparation - slides from the information meeting that took place online on Wednesday, 2nd October.
If you are going abroad in January 2025, you should make sure to either attend the live online pre-departure briefing on Friday, 20th December at 10am, or view the video which has been sent to you by e-mail. For a summary, please refer to the slides from the pre-departure briefing for Semester 2 outgoing students. Note that you MUST complete a Mobility Assessment before you go abroad. You can find information about this towards the end of the pre-departure briefing and in the video which has been sent to you.

Travel insurance
You will be required to purchase travel insurance before going on mobility. Please make sure to read the University of Galway's Insurance Recommendations for Students on Mobility. You may refer also to the Undergraduate Travel Toolkit.
