The Technology Services Directorate (TSD) at University of Galway provides integrated access to shared research facilities, expertise, and training, supporting both internal and external users on a fee-for-service basis. A structured review of the billing workflow, involving workshops and stakeholder engagement, led to the redesign and testing of an improved process. This resulted in a significant efficiency gain, reducing the process from 61 to 24 steps and streamlining service delivery for the research community.
