Midios Case Study

The Midios project  investigates how type 2 diabetes affects gene activity in bone‑forming cells, leading to reduced bone maintenance and increased fracture risk. Ethics and study setup support included application preparation, CRDO registration, and DPIA completion within 8 weeks. A coordinated sample collection workflow enabled expansion from one to three clinical sites, with data protection agreements secured to support compliant multi-site research.
