Dillon Family Scholarship

The Dillon Family Scholarship, funded by the Dillon Family and administered through the Galway University Foundation, has been established to support and empower undergraduate students from Counties Clare and Waterford pursuing a business degree at the University of Galway.

Founded by David Dillon, a University of Galway alumnus, and Carol Dillon (née Corbett), an alumna of Dublin City University, the scholarship reflects their strong belief in the transformative power of higher education. It honours the dedication and sacrifices of their families and aims to widen access to business education for students who would benefit from additional financial support.

The scholarship also recognises the important role that excellence in business education plays in Ireland’s economic and civic life.

Each successful scholar will receive €2,500 per year for the duration of their undergraduate degree programme, up to a maximum of four years, subject to satisfactory academic progression and continued eligibility.
