Information Sessions
You can view the slides from the study abroad preparation meeting for CASSCS outbound students (full-year or first semester 2026/27) that took place in March 2026.

You can view the slides from the August pre-departure session (please note that students have received a video version by e-mail).

Partner university information
You can find fact sheets for many of our partner universities on our Destinations page. This page is updated when new fact sheets are sent to us by partner universities.

Planning your studies
Outbound students are advised to consult the following documents:

Guide to Course Selection and Learning Agreements

Learning Agreement - Frequently Asked Questions

Creating your OLA account
Completing your OLA (Online Learning Agreement)
Making Changes to your OLA

Alternative Learning Agreement for CASSCS students - for Erasmus students only.  A small number of our partner universities do not use EWP (Erasmus without Paper) and if your host university is one of these, you won't be able to use the OLA, so this document is a Word version that you should use instead.

International Exchange Learning Agreement (only for students going on non-Erasmus mobility to the United States, Canada, Hong Kong, etc)

Global Galway's Pre-departure Toolkit has lots of useful general information about preparing for study abroad.  We strongly recommend that you read these pages.

Financial Planning
An important consideration for anyone planning to study abroad is finance.  The Global Galway website has some useful information on Financial Planning for Study Abroad, including a very helpful document showing the estimated costs for non-EU destinations.  See also their page on Financial Planning for Erasmus students.
