Professor Enrico Dal Lago has just published Storia della schiavitù americana. Dalla fondazione delle colonie alla Guerra civile (A History of American Slavery: From the Foundation of the Colonies to the Civil War), Rome: Carocci Editore, 2025. The volume offers a historical and historiographical survey of American slavery and is the first work of its kind published by an Italian scholar in Italy.
