Colleagues from the School attended and presented at the Association for Teacher Education in Europe (ATEE) annual conference in Bialystok, Poland. The theme of this year’s conference was ‘Cross Borders : Between Policy, Research and Practice in Teacher Education.’

Cornelia Connolly co-authored the paper “Between Promise and Precaution: Generative AI and the Future of Teacher Education”, Devon Goodwin “Gathering The Keys To The Kingdom - Early Initial Teacher Education Considerations For Those Working To Diversify The Teaching Profession” and Manuela Heinz a paper titled “Reflect, Adapt, Transform: What Drives Teaching Change?” https://atee.uwb.edu.pl/programme/parallel-sessions

Also at the Conference, Professor Cornelia Connolly and Professor Manuela Heinz were both awarded a “ATEE Highest Recognition Award”. The award honours colleagues whose outstanding commitment contribution and service have helped shape the Association and strengthen the field of teacher education over the years. Congratulations Cornelia and Manuela!
