Professor Cornelia Connolly PI with Rinn Artificial Intelligence

Rinn Artificial Intelligence (AI) was launched in June 2026 as part of Ireland’s new €460 million Research Ireland national research network. Receiving over €120 million in dedicated funding, the center focuses on data science and ethical AI research.
The Rinn AI goals are to (i) to advance foundational cutting-edge research in Data Science and AI, and (ii) to pursue open, international, and inter- and transdisciplinary research aimed at studying, designing, and implementing strategies to address societal challenges.
We are excited to announce that Professor Cornelia Connolly from our School is Principal Investigator with Rinn AI.
