Dr Hannah Franzki - Fantomas Versus the Multinational Vampires - Lunchtime Seminar Series
Join us on Wednesday, 26th February, from 1-2pm in the Irish Centre for Human Rights Seminar Room, University of Galway, for 'Fantomas versus the multinational vampires: corporate accountability for human rights violations at the Russell Tribunal II on repression in Brazil, Chile and Latin America (1974-1976)' with Dr Hannah Franzki as part of our Lunchtime Seminar Series.
Dr. Hannah Franzki studied politics, law and peace and conflict studies in Marburg (Germany) and Montevideo (Uruguay) and holds a LL.M. from the University of Warwick (UK). Hannah received her PhD from Birkbeck College, University in London, with a work on criminal corporate accountability and the economic dimension of state crimes. Afterwards, she worked as postdoctoral researcher at University Bremen. She joined ECCHR’s Institute for Legal Intervention as Senior Legal Advisor in May 2024.
In addition to her work at ECCHR, Dr. Hannah Franzki is a researcher and lecturer at the Interdisciplinary Center for Peace and Conflict Studies at Free University Berlin where she works on violence in the context of transnational production networks and regularly publishes on her research in the areas of critical legal theory, transitional justice and corporate accountability.
