Travel Emergencies and Claims

In the event of an emergency whilst traveling on University business, outside of Ireland, please contact the Lifeline Plus emergency contact number +44(0) 1273747625, advise them that you are covered by the University of Galway Travel Insurance Policy, provide the Policy Number HGT63867 and indicate the nature of the assistance that you require.

For enrolled University of Galway students on Placements & Erasmus, outside of Ireland, please contact the above number quoting the policy number provided by Global Galway.

For travel insurance claims for costs incurred for medical treatment; delayed or cancelled flights and lost, damaged or stolen items etc. please contact the insurance office directly at insurance@universityofgalway.ie
