Launch and Celebration of Dearcadh: Graduate Journal of Gender, Globalisation and Rights
Invitation: Launch and Celebration of Dearcadh: Graduate Journal of Gender, Globalisation and Rights
When? Wednesday, 28th of September @ 5:30pm
Where? CA110, Cairnes Building, University of Galway
RSVP to Stacey.scriver@universityofgalway.ie
As you may know, the Gender and Women’s Studies discipline publishes a peer-reviewed graduate journal that features the work of graduates of the MA Gender, Globalisation and Rights as well as other programmes. You will have an opportunity to publish in the journal and we recommend you come along to the launch of the third volume of Dearcadh: Graduate Journal of Gender, Globalisation, and Rights where you will have the chance to hear from past authors (and MA GGR graduates) about their experience.
In this years’ volume authors address issues including care work and the impact of COVID 19, technology and sex work, image-based sexual violence, same-sex intimate partner violence, the right to development, and race and gender decertification.
We hope to see you at the informal celebration and launch on the 28th of September, from 5:30pm in CA 110, Cairnes building (across from Aras Moyola).
For current and graduating MA students this is an opportunity to learn more about publishing with Dearcadh.
For the purposes of catering please RSVP to Stacey.scriver@universityofgalway.ie by the 23rd of September.
