Athena Swan Institutional Culture Survey

The Athena Swan Institutional survey is conducted every two years. The Athena Swan Culture Survey 2023 ran for a four-week period (April 17th - May 17th 2023). The survey gives staff the opportunity to tell us what changes need to be made to improve equality in our institution. ‌University of Galway will be applying for a Silver Athena Swan Award in 2025, and this is a strategic goal for the University. For an institution to achieve Silver accreditation they must show that they have not only implemented actions, but also that staff of all genders feel supported and tangible change has been achieved.
