Overview

The Pre-Masters English Language Pathway is a Higher Diploma Certification (Level 8) designed to develop students’ English language skills to a level commensurate with studying at third level.

Who is this course aimed at?

• Students who have a level equivalent of IELTS 5.5 and wish to study at degree programme at University of Galway or elsewhere.

Date & Fess

• 4 February – 8 August 2025
• Tuition Fee: €9,250 & Registration: €35

Course Aims

• To progress students to their chosen degree programme by developing proficiency in the essential language and academic skills required for academic study.
• Life skills development for successful transition through coaching and orientation to life on campus.

Entry Requirements

IELTS 5.5 with no component less than 4.5 (or equivalent exam)
