The team at the Centre for Adult Learning and Professional Development would like to extend a warm welcome to all our incoming students in the 2023/24 academic year.
We are delighted that you have chosen University of Galway to embark on your professional development journey and we are committed to providing you with an enriching educational experience.
To start your study programme, we have designed an informative orientation session to help you become familiar with our campus and community. The orientation will take place online on the 4th September. This is an excellent opportunity for you to meet the course team and find out about the academic supports and services available to you as a student at University of Galway.

As a registered student of the University, you will also be automatically enrolled in the “Adult Learning Orientation” module on the online learning portal. Here you will find all the information you need to be a successful online learner including a list of frequently asked questions and several comprehensive "How to Guides" which cover all you need to know about being a part-time student at University of Galway.
