Staff Training: IT Security Awareness Training
The aim of this course is to provide guidance on how staff can be more security conscious. The content focuses on the key responsibilities of a user whilst also allowing them to learn and become aware of how they could fall victim to phishing, vishing and social engineering. The course is instructor lead and encourages interaction with the class.
- To raise awareness of IT security amongst staff within NUI Galway
- To help staff assess potential IT security threats to the University's systems and data
- To help staff respond in an appropriate manner to these threats
Staff need only attend one session - 25th February or 26th February
