Homepage Parallax Sliding Information

This content type is for Widescreen pages. The parallax content type includes a large, full-screen main image above a white content block, which includes a smaller image, an H1 headline and short description. We recommend you prepare your images in advance of adding this content type to your home page

  • Main image should be 1600 x 1069 
  • The image for mobile should be 767x400
  • The small image should be 480 x 290
  • The Title has a min number of characters of 10 and a maximum of 25 characters
  • Your description should contain at least 230 characters with a maximum of 330

You need to fully comply with copyright law. Ensure that you have the right to use any images you upload or insert onto your webpage. Further information is available on our Images FAQ page - Where can I find Images to use on my website.

Tip: Make sure the filename of your image does not contain any spaces, the file name has at least 3 characters (before the dot) and does not contain any characters that are reserved for web addresses ( ! * ' ( ) ; : @ & = + $ , / ? % # [ ] ).

How to add a Homepage Parallax Sliding content type

  1. Go to the page you wish to have a Homepage Parallax Sliding content type.
  2. Click on +Add Content 
    Add Content button
  3. Choose Homepage Parallax Sliding content type
  4. Give the content a Name
  5. For Item 1 add three images, Image Main, Image Main Mobile and Image Small, from your computer by clicking on the 'Drop file...' box or drag and drop the images.
  6. Provide the Item1: Title (min chars. 20; max chars: 30).
  7. Provide the Item1: Description (min chars: 230; max chars: 330).
  8. For Item 2 add three images, Image Main, Image Main Mobile and Image Small, from your computer by clicking on the 'Drop file...' box or drag and drop the images.
  9. Provide the Item2: Title (min chars. 20; max chars: 30).
  10. Provide the Item2: Description (min chars: 230; max chars: 330).
  11. Click on Save changes to put your content on Pending.
    Save changes button. No option to save and approve or save as draft..
  12. Click on the small white arrow beside Save changes and choose Save and approve to approve your content.
    T4's Save and approve option, selected
