Student Support Advisory Team
What We Do
The Student Support & Advisory Team are here to provide you with support and resources to make sure your student experience is the best it can be. Our services are for all students and are available throughout the year, not just during term. The sooner we hear from you the sooner we can help. Our main areas of work involve offering advice about Accommodation, Financial Support and Budgeting, University based difficulties and exceptional life circumstances. We also liaise frequently with other student welfare supports (e.g. student health unit, counselling) to ensure the support that students receive is appropriate, compassionate and comprehensive.
If you’re not sure which support is right for you, you’re always welcome to drop in to the Student Enquiry Centre (SEC) to get any questions you have on student life answered. You may also prefer to go through the Support Wheel which organises all supports under the type of needs they’re best suited to address.
