Software Available For Students

The School of Computer Science has subscriptions to Microsoft and Visual Pardigm Academic Partner Program. These subscriptions provide free or heavily discounted software to students taking courses delivered by the college. This software is distributed through online portals. Other software such as VMware Workstation Pro and Cloud based services are often available for free or free credit for University students. Additionally the School has the facility to offer hosted websites, databases, apps, virtualised and docker environments. Please contact the technical team for further info support@cs.universityofgalway.ie  

All student of the School of Computer Science will receive, or may already have received, e-mails from portals indicating that an account has been created for you on these online stores. Follow any instructions in the email to access you account.

VMWare Products
