Prof Kate Kenny selected as a distinguished winner of the 2026 Responsible Research in Management Award

Professor Kate Kenny has been selected as a distinguished winner of the 2026 Responsible Research in Management Award, for her book on whistleblowing collectives, “Regulators of Last Resort: Whistleblowers, the Limits of the Law and the Power of Partnerships”. The selection committee noted that Professor Kenny's research exemplifies the mission of the RRMA: producing work that is both scientifically rigorous and beneficial to society and aligning closely with the seven principles of responsible research: Service to society, valuing both basic and applied contributions, valuing plurality and multidisciplinary collaboration, sound methodology, stakeholder involvement, impact on stakeholders, and broad dissemination. The review committee was deeply impressed by the quality of this scholarship and the meaningful contributions this research offers to management theory, practice, and society.
