The Centre for Law, Religion and Society is delighted to announce the upcoming online classes, developed in collaboration with the Irish Centre for Human Rights

Course: Bill Backgrounder Drafting Tools and Techniques Online Classes/Webinars

Venue: Online

Period: 22 – 24 September 2025

Audience: The classes are designed for a Persian-speaking audience and will be conducted entirely in Persian. The classes are ideal for law students and graduates, civil society activists, journalists, social researchers, and anyone with a passion for social justice and human rights. 

Course Overview/Objective: The classes are designed to help participants gain skills on how to develop a strong and well-structured bill backgrounder, build a clear policy rationale, and assess the societal impact of anti-domestic violence bills. Course Programme:  The programme covers a wide range of topics related to drafting bill backgrounder and is delivered through three webinar-style classes, each focused on a key topic as follows: 1) drafting the summary and historical context; 2) drafting the policy rationale and comparative experience; and 3) drafting the impact analysis and legal status. A detailed course schedule and specific topics will be provided upon enrollment.
