Accounting (Master of)
Applicants to this programme do not need to submit a personal statement. Instead, please download and fill in this form and upload onto your application.
Business Administration (MBA) Master of
A current C.V., max 3 pages.
Business Analytics (MSc)
Personal Statements are required to be original and unique, maximum 1 A4 page (600 words) Please do not exceed the word limit on your personal statement.
Business and Hospitality (MSc)

Applicants are required to submit/upload a current C.V. (max. 2 pages)
- References
Applicants are required to submit/upload 2 references. One must be an academic reference (in the case of applicants currently undertaking studies) and/or an employer (in the case of applicants currently in employment), and/or suitable personal reference.
Business Studies (HDip)
A personal statement is not required.
Cybersecurity Risk Management (MSc)
A current C.V., max 3 pages.
Hospitality Management (PgCert)

Information Systems Management (MSc)

International Accounting and Analytics (MSc)
Pathway A - September intake: transcripts showing all modules taken as part of your degree and grades achieved. Where the applicant is a current final year undergraduate, show details of all modules registered for in final year.
Pathway B - January intake (only): a notarised* copy of full associate membership of a recognised Professional Accounting Body.
*Notarised copy means having the membership cert attested to by a notary (signature on the document).
International and Comparative Disability Law and Policy (LLM) Master of Laws
Please include a personal statement which will provide any additional information to support your application (e.g., work in the area of disability, knowledge of languages, computing, special aptitudes, or details not already cited). Please attach any other additional documentation which you feel would enhance your application, e.g., curriculum vitae. One letter of reference is also a requirement for all non-University of Galway applicants.
International Criminal Law (LLM) Master of Laws
Please include a personal statement which will provide any additional information to support your application (e.g., knowledge of languages, computing, special aptitudes, or details not already cited). Please attach any other additional documentation which you feel would enhance your application, eg., curriculum vitae. One letter of reference is also a requirement for all non-University of Galway applicants.
International Finance (MEconSc)
Personal statement required for candidates whose primary degree is not in Economics.
International Human Rights (LLM) Master of Laws
Please include a personal statement which will provide any additional information to support your application (e.g., knowledge of languages, computing, special aptitudes, or details not already cited). Please attach any other additional documentation which you feel would enhance your application, e.g., curriculum vitae. One letter of reference is also a requirement for all applicants, except University of Galway graduates/students.
Law (LLB) Bachelor of
Please include a personal statement indicating why you wish to undertake this course and outline how it fits into your career objectives. Please attach any other additional documentation which you think may assist in the assessment of your application.
Marketing Practice (MSc)
You must provide a two page Curriculum Vitae.
