When you end your contract or studies at the University of Galway you will also lose access to your University of Galway email account. Although you will lose access to your account it will remain active for a further six months, and which point it will be permanently deleted.

There are some steps that you can take to ensure to make this process as painless as possible.

 

Set up and out of Office reply

Forward all incoming emails to a new address

Download your mail box as a (.pst) file

If you have downloaded the Outlook client, you can also easily download all of your email data as a (.pst) file. See the following web-page for further information:
