THREADS OF MEMORY: Conflict Textiles, Poetry and Transitional Justice in Chile
The Irish Centre for Human Rights invites you to a public, interdisciplinary event exploring how textiles, poetry, and arts serve as powerful forms of testimony and resistance in the aftermath of political violence. Focusing on Chile’s struggle for truth and justice after the Pinochet dictatorship, the session highlights the evocative power of arpilleras poéticas, textile artworks accompanied by poetry, that weave together personal and collective memory.
