Lunchtime Seminar: 'Make it your Business' documentary
The Irish Centre for Human Rights is pleased to invite you to the screening of the documentary, ‘Make it your Business’ (Trócaire, 2022, 23 minutes), followed by a discussion with Garry Walsh, Policy and Advisory Officer with Trócaire at 1pm, Wednesday, 23rd November 2022, in the Seminar Room, Irish Centre for Human Rights. All are welcome to attend.
Over the past number of years, with support from people across the island of Ireland, Trócaire has been campaigning to hold big business to account for abuse of human rights and the environment. This includes calling for the creation of an International Treaty on Business and Human Rights, which would be a game-changer in helping to end corporate impunity for abuse of people and planet. This short documentary explores the campaign, the challenges faced and the possible solutions.
