Semester 1 (Autumn/Fall) Orientation 2023/24 will take place on the following dates:

Support Services Orientation (Time TBC) Thursday August 31st (Bailey Allen Hall)
Academic Orientation  (Time TBC) Friday September 1st  (Bailey Allen Hall)

Support Services Orientation consists of an overview of the following:

  • library services
  • computer services
  • sports clubs and student societies
  • student health
  • counselling services
  • banking
  • student safety
  • volunteering
  • GNIB Registration (for Non-EU/EEA students)

 

Academic Orientation consists of an overview of the following: 

  • classes on offer
  • prerequisites
  • timetables
  • venues
  • examination arrangements

11.30 – 11:50am School of History and Philosophy - Philosophy
11.50 – 12:10pm School of Psychology
12.10 - 1.10pm      School of Languages, Literature & Culture
1.10 – 1.40pm School of Geography, Archaeology & Irish Studies
