‌‌Determining if You Have Windows Administrator Rights

 1. Go to the start menu and in the search box type cmd

2. Open cmd.exe

 3. At the command prompt, type net localgroup administrators. This shows a list of Administrators on this computer.

4. If your username appears in this list, you have administrator rights, if not you can assign yourself right following these instructions.
