Prof. Martin O’Donnell leads the Neurovascular Research Group dedicated to advancing knowledge and understanding in the field of Neurovascular diseases, with a primary focus on the prevention of stroke and cognitive impairment/dementia.

Our core objectives are to:

• Conduct innovative research to identify risk factors, biomarkers, and therapeutic targets related to stroke and cognitive impairment/dementia.
• Investigate the underlying mechanisms contributing to neurovascular diseases through rigorous scientific investigation.
• Disseminate research findings through:
