Nursing and Midwifery (Structured PhD) [formerly Structured PhD, Nursing]
Course Overview
This Structured PhD is available as a four-year full-time programme and as a six-year part-time programme (360 ECTS).
Each student must obtain 30 ECTS during their PhD programme. Students select modules in consultation with their supervisor. There are a number of professional skills modules available, as well as advanced discipline-specific modules.

Entry Requirements
PhD candidates should normally have a high honours standard in a relevant academic discipline at primary degree level or equivalent together with the support of an academic staff member who is approved by the College to supervise the research in terms of its nature and scope. Candidates will be required to submit a well-developed research proposal for consideration by the School as part of their application.
