New climate-based research led by Geography PhD student, Adrienne Foremen, was published in the journal 'Geomorphology' last week. Adrienne's paper describes new geomorphologic evidence for the end of the last ice age in Connemara and shows that deglaciation occurred rapidly during a period traditionally thought to have been exceptionally cold.
