Congratulations to Dr Eugene Farrell on his recent Research Excellence award. Dr. Farrell, through his research, is active in a range of outputs, he has been at the forefront of this university’s commitment to our Four Core values of Respect, Openness, Sustainability, and Excellence. His work (€7.5-million in external grants) focuses on developing nature-based solutions (NbS) to combat shoreline erosion and promote sustainable development in coastal communities within national-level conservation and habitat restoration priorities.
