22nd ANNUAL PLENARY CONFERENCE OF THE SOCIETY FOR MUSICOLOGY IN IRELAND
Welcome to the 22nd Annual Plenary Conference of the Society for Musicology in Ireland!
The conference will take place on 28–29 June 2024, hosted for the first time by the Discipline of Music, School of English, Media and Creative Arts, at the University of Galway.
The keynote paper will be given by Professor Barbara Kelly (University of Leeds).
We look forward to welcoming you to the University of Galway this summer.

GETTING TO GALWAY
PUBLIC TRANSPORT
Galway Coach Station: Citylink and Expressway provide services to Galway from cities around the country and Dublin and Shannon airports.
Galway (Ceannt) Railway Station: has regular services to and from Dublin and Limerick.
If travelling by car, please note that university car parks are permit-only until Friday at 5pm. After this time, and on Saturday, they are free and available to non-permit holders. Nearby car parks include Galway Cathedral (€6.50 day rate) and Dyke Road (€6.50 day rate).
