Centre for Excellence in Learning and Teaching
Welcome to the Centre for Excellence in Learning and Teaching (CELT). Our role in the university is to support academic colleagues across the institution in developing new programmes, enhancing teaching and learning, encouraging innovation and scholarship, and in ensuring that they are provided with the best tools and environment to support teaching and their students' learning.
We do this through a wide range of activities, supports, and events including formal professional development programmes, networking and collaboration, piloting and evaluation of tools and techniques, and the provision of core audiovisual and learning technologies support.
Our team has a broad range of skills, experience, and knowledge, but are connected by a common commitment and enthusiasm for teaching and learning. If you want to explore possibilities, share ideas, or need some advice related to teaching, learning, assessment, technologies, or broad academic practice, don't hesitate to get in touch.
The CELT seminar series 2024/25 is now open for registration.
