Judge Kearney Talk and Internship Opportunity
The Law Society and Women in Law Society in conjunction with the School of Law is delighted to host a talk with the Hon. Mark A Kearney, judge of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Judge Kearney's talk will focus on the role of the advocate, his work as a federal judge, and in what will be of particular interest to 3rd and final year students, a summer internship available to University of Galway law students. Judge Kearney will be joined by Oisin O'Neill Dwyer, a 4th year BCL student who participated in the internship last summer and Petrina Sheridan, who completed the internship a number of years ago.
Judge Kearney will join the event by Zoom. Attendees are encouraged to attend in person but if that is not possible they can also join online.
Day/time: Monday 11th November at 5pm
