Hong Kong
Welcome to NUI Galway School of Law
Law has been taught at NUI Galway since 1849. The Law School has over 800 undergraduate and postgraduate students with a staff of over 40 academics and administrators in the core School and its specialist Centres: the Centre for Disability Law & Policy and the Irish Centre for Human Rights.
There are many reasons for students from Hong Kong to study law in Ireland. Ireland is an English-speaking country with a legal tradition derived from English common law. Hong Kong students will be well placed to explore the great cities of Europe, including London, Paris and Berlin – the birthplaces of the common law and civil law legal traditions. Galway is also a safe and friendly environment in which to study.
