Library Access

Graduates of the University of Galway are entitled to free lifetime access to the library. To join, you will need to provide a copy of your transcripts or your conferring parchment. To apply for a library card, please complete this application form, upload your transcripts or parchment, and submit the form to the library. A member of the library staff will contact you when your library card is ready for collection.

Exam Transcripts

For ordering transcripts, the Student Registry Helpdesk is your point of contact. Please note that there is a 10-working-day processing period for standard transcripts and a five-week processing period for archive transcripts (pre-1986).

Global Chapters

With the Affinity Credit Card from Bank of Ireland, you can enjoy all the benefits of a credit card while Bank of Ireland makes a donation to the University of Galway. They will also contribute a percentage of your annual expenditure at no additional cost to you.
