Library Access

Graduates of the University of Galway are entitled to free lifetime access to the library. To join, you will need to provide a copy of your transcripts or your conferring parchment. To apply for a library card, please complete this application form, upload your transcripts or parchment, and submit the form to the library. A member of the library staff will contact you when your library card is ready for collection.

Are you a recent graduate within three years of graduation? You can access Careers Connect for exciting job opportunities from leading employers tailored to you. We offer vacancies across all sectors, including internships, graduate programmes, full-time and part-time positions, as well as seasonal and contract roles. New positions are added daily, so be sure to stay connected!

Exam Transcripts

For ordering transcripts, the Student Registry Helpdesk is your point of contact. Please note that there is a 10-working-day processing period for standard transcripts and a five-week processing period for archive transcripts (pre-1986).

Global Chapters

University of Galway alumni are located worldwide. We are currently gathering the names of alumni interested in establishing an alumni chapter in their region. If you would like to learn more, please contact us at alumni@universityofgalway.ie.

University of Galway Affinity Card

With the Affinity Credit Card from Bank of Ireland, you can enjoy all the benefits of a credit card while Bank of Ireland makes a donation to the University of Galway. They will also contribute a percentage of your annual expenditure at no additional cost to you.
