Technology Services Directorate Workshop Day

The University of Galway has launched the Research Institutes Technology Services Directorate to support the new Institutes - the Institute for Health Discovery and Innovation and the Institute for Clinical Trials.  This joint initiative will manage core facilities and technologies and introduce new resources, fostering a world-class research ecosystem. It aims to provide flexible access to shared infrastructure and expertise, addressing gaps and enabling a strategic approach to facilities.

We are planning an official event in the University of Galway for the launch of the Technology Services Directorate on the 10th of October to coincide with the launch of the Institute for Health Discovery and Innovation. Alongside the official launch event, we will host a Core Facility training and workshop day on the 9th of October. 

We are delighted to host Julia Fernandez-Rodriguez, Saskia Lippens, Peter O’Toole, and Robbie Sinnott who will join our local community of core facility experts for the workshop sessions.
