Summary and objectives |
The proposed research will develop and validate a method to enable the use of physics-based computational models to be used to make near real-time predictions of ambient air properties in indoor environments (i.e. direction and speed of air flows, thermal conditions, and pollutant dispersion), allowing building operators and/or public health services to predict indoor conditions for energy savings and safety purposes. |
Projected research outputs |
The projected output is a software suite for automatically generating and solving reduced-order models of indoor environments. |
