Late Entry Seating Advice
Late Entry Seating Advice
Late Entry seating is an Exams Office process that involves the Student Registry Helpdesk Team who assist Students in the following scenarios:
- Student is missing a personnel exam timetable.
- Student is missing an exam from their personnel exam timetable.
Student responsibility is to provision Student Registry Helpdesk with:
(1) Student name
(2) Student ID number
(3) Course Instance
(4) Exam Module(s)
To provide us with the above information, please email askregistry@universityofgalway.ie
Student Registry Helpdesk role is:
(1) Schedule the Student for the missing exam module(s) on the Exams Late Entry Seating Tracker
(2) Send an email to the student with confirmation of the Exam module (s) date, time and late entry seating venue
I do not have an exam timetable and I am pre-registered for my course, how do I register?
If your student status is pre-registered for your course , please contact the Fees office to get clearance to register via fees@universityofgalway.ie
When you receive Fees clearance than you are advised to liaise with the Registration Team via registration@universityofgalway.ie.
When you receive confirmation from Registration that you are registered for the modules, please email askregistry@universityofgalway.ie
I transferred to a different course and I do not have an exam timetable?
If you transferred from a course in September to October of Semester I, your student curriculum would not have synchronised with the exam timetable scheduling system.

I changed modules and they are not on my exam timetable, how do I fix it?
If you changed modules on your student curriculum i.e. add/remove in September - October of Semester I.
Your updated student curriculum do not synchronise with the exam timetable scheduling system.

I am registered for a module on Canvas but the module is not on my Student Curriculum or my Exam timetable, how do I fix this?
If you are not registered for a module on your curriculum but you can see the module on your Canvas, please email the Registration Team via registration@universityofgalway.ie
