If you are searching for private accommodation, we recommend that you arrive in Galway well in advance of term to arrange viewings. To avoid disappointment, it is advisable to apply for more than just University campus accommodation as demand is always greater than supply.

These operate year-round; we suggest starting your search early (March/April) and keeping an eye on the websites throughout the summer months too, but the reality is that a lot of property owners do not advertise until mid-August.
Postgraduate students
Accommodation is available for new-entrant international postgraduate students on campus in Corrib Village and Dunlin Village.
Applications will be accepted from 7 May 2025 through to 29 May 2025.
