• PhD Research – Opportunities for obtaining your own funding include the three types of Irish Research Council postgraduate schemes , the NUI Galway Hardiman scholarship and the NUI Galway School of Engineering PhD Scholarship. Other pre-funded PhD positions are advertised below when available.

• Postdoctoral Researcher – Postdoctoral applicants can apply for funding from schemes such as the SFI University Research Fellowships or the Irish Research Council’s Government of Ireland Postdoctoral Fellowship, Enterprise Partnership Scheme (Postdoctoral), or CAROLINE MSCA COFUND Postdoctoral Fellowship , Career-FIT scheme.

• Industry Focused Research  – We actively collaborate with Industry to address current challenges in sustainable and resilient structures.
