Staff Profiles

Abdul Wahid is a post-doctor at the Data Science Institute, University of Galway, contributing to developing the Metaverse for Europe, focusing on building an inclusive digital ecosystem using LLMs and Knowledge Graphs. He did his PhD from Data Science Institute, University of Galway 2023, he also holds a Master's degree in Electronics and Information Engineering 2016 from Chonbuk National University, South Korea. His research experience spans smart manufacturing, digital twin technology, and autonomous systems. Abdul has been actively involved in academia, teaching and mentoring students, and delivering workshops on virtual reality across Galway County schools.
