International Host Partners
The College of Science and Engineering is normally able to offer Science students the following opportunities with our partners (Details may be subject to change).
Students remain registered for their University of Galway degree so there is no tuition fee at the host.

Erasmus Exchanges
What is Erasmus?
“Erasmus” is a specific scheme for student exchange to host universities within Europe with whom we have agreements. This is separate from the College Exchanges to international partners outside the EU. Sometimes the term “Erasmus” is mistakenly used to refer to any type mobility to study in another country (eg US or Hong Kong) even though this is not under the Erasmus scheme.
Further information about Erasmus is available from the International Office Erasmus Outgoing Students pages.
Erasmus for Undergraduate Programmes
Certain programmes have Erasmus agreements enabling their students to study at partner institutions. These are restricted and are notified directly to students within the relevant programmes.
Erasmus Internships
Certain programmes such as Biotechnology and Engineering have Erasmus agreements enabling internships. These are restricted and are notified directly to students within the relevant programmes.
