There is a limited number (~10) of car parking spaces available on these mornings. The car registration number must be communicated to Marie Cunningham on the day before the meeting. Contact: phone (091) 493632, or email marie.cunningham@nuigalway.ie. The car park barrier will automatically rise when the specified car approaches. It is necessary to position your car close to the the barrier for your registration to be recognized.
RSA Lectures
The next talk in this series will be given by Patrick Larkin, on 'Some student days from UCG, 1920', illustrated by photographs from the period. It will take place on 11 September 2018, in the Moore Institute Seminar Room (G010), Hardiman Research Building, at 12.00 noon.

Travel
In 2017-2018 Trips were organized to Belfast (February 2018) and the Baltic States & Finland (May 2018). See 'Past events, 2017-2018' for details.
More than thirty members and friends travelled to the Baltic States and Finland. Vilnius was our first destination, followed by Riga, Tallinn and Helsinki. The tour took in the iconic sites of these cities and included several side excursions. See below for a selection of photographs taken by those who took part.
