Marie Curie

The Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions are the European Union’s reference programme for doctoral education and postdoctoral training. The Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions fund excellent research and innovation and equip researchers at all stages of their career with new knowledge and skills, through mobility across borders and exposure to different sectors and disciplines. MSCA are open to all domains of research and innovation and encourage international cooperation to set-up strategic collaborations.

What are the MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships?

The Postdoctoral Fellowships action targets researchers of any nationality holding a PhD who wish to carry out their research activities abroad, acquire new skills and develop their careers.  The MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships are meant to support the best, most promising individual researchers from anywhere in the world.  The MSCA grant will support salary, mobility (and family) allowance, research costs and overheads for the host institution. Individual researchers must submit proposals for funding with the involvement of their supervisor. Proposals are judged on their research quality, the researcher's future career prospects, and the supports offered by the host organisation. All disciplines are eligible for funding.

There are two types of MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships: European Fellowships and Global Fellowships.
