Biography

Adam obtained his PhD from NUIGalway in 2015. His PhD examined the interaction between femtosecond laser pulses and flexible glass substrates, and developed laser manufacturing processes for display and photovoltaic markets.

Adam spent time in industry before joining CÚRAM to develop flexible sensor technology for use in physiological monitoring of chronic wounds.

He is named as an inventor on three patents and is keen to commercially exploit his research to date.
