Ms Emma O'Callaghan graduated from the University of Galway (formerly knows as National University of Galway, Ireland) with a BSc in Podiatry in 2017. She immediately started working in the area of musculoskeletal podiatry and specialised in biomechanics in a private practice in Cork where she became practice manager, the chief mentor and the lead clinician. 
She started her own business, Elite Biomechanics Academy, in 2022. This is where she started teaching and mentoring qualified podiatrists in the area of biomechanics. She has guess lectured with the Irish College of Osteopathic Medicine and for Podiatry Ireland (formerly know as the Society for Chiropodist and Podiatrists Ireland).
