Biography

Dr. Xuliang Qian is a Lecturer in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Galway. His research focuses on computational biomechanics, bio-nano mechanics, and the development of sustainable processes for nano-manufacturing.

Dr. Qian earned his Master¿s and Ph.D. degrees in Solid Mechanics from Brown University, USA, where he investigated the mechanics of cell-nanomaterial interactions. He then completed postdoctoral training at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, where he advanced research on the bio-inspired processes, mechanics of biomolecular self-assembly, and sustainable nano-manufacturing.

Dr. Qian¿s work has been published in leading scientific journals, including Nature Nanotechnology, Advanced Materials, Nature Communications, and Small. His research bridges the fields of mechanics, nanotechnology, and sustainability.
